Highlights

Skating Achievement

Yugan Viknesh of Grade 2 represented Karnataka at the 25th National Speed Skating Championship 2026 held in Chennai. His team won a Silver Medal in the Relay event, and he also competed commendably in the 400m and 1000m races.

Anna Sabu of Grade 9 A proudly represented Karnataka at the CISCE National Level Skating Competition and secured a bronze medal in the 500 m (rink) event.

Shaping Future Leaders: From July 23 – 25, 2025, over 300 students from Grades 4 – 10 took part in Lawrence High School’s INTRA-MUN. Students debated diverse topics while building public speaking, research, and leadership skills. The event concluded with a grand finale led by alumni, celebrating teamwork and global awareness.

Chess

Lawrence High School is proud of its accomplished chess team. Every year, our players compete at school, state, and national levels, bringing home medals and accolades.

Taekwondo

Lawrence High School’s Taekwondo team trains with discipline and confidence, building strength, focus, and self-defence skills. Our students regularly participate in competitions and bring pride and medals to the school.

Football

On the pitch, Lawrence High School football team builds sharp game sense, teamwork, and resilience through regular training and match play. Our teams proudly represent the school in inter-school tournaments and have brought home winning finishes.

Skating

We encourage skating because it builds balance, agility, and confidence through regular practice and coaching. Students develop speed and control while practising for school in skating events and competitions.

Yoga

At Lawrence High School, we believe practising Yoga builds flexibility, focus, and inner calm through guided practice. It helps students develop healthy habits for both body and mind.

Cricket

Cricket at Lawrence High School sharpens skill, strategy, and sportsmanship through structured coaching and regular match practice. Our players represent the school with prestige in inter-school tournaments, building teamwork and resilience on and off the field.

Model United Nation

Model United Nation events at Lawrence High School builds diplomacy, research, and confident public speaking through realistic committee simulations. Students debate global issues, negotiate resolutions, and learn to lead with logic, empathy, and teamwork.

Kindergarten Competitions

Kindergarteners join inter-school events like Swachh Bharat Art, Spell Bee, Little Hands, Olympiad, cultural activities, and Skating to build confidence and skills. In-house events like Rhymes Recitation, Show & Tell, and Fancy Dress enhance communication. All children are encouraged to participate. Experiences stay joyful and memorable.

The Spell Bee - Little Hands Competition

Encouraged young learners to build vocabulary, confidence, and a love for language. Through fun and engaging rounds, students develop spelling skills while enjoying a spirited learning experience.

Vedic Maths (Class 4-7)

Vedic Maths for Grades 4 to 7 enhances mental calculation and numerical skills. Simple techniques help students solve problems faster, with accuracy and confidence.

Olympiad

Our students excel in Olympiads by the Science Olympiad Foundation and Indian Talent Olympiad. These exams enhance analytical skills and reinforce strong academic excellence.

Public Speaking

Public speaking is a vital life skill, and it is strongly encouraged at Lawrence High School through Toastmasters-style training. We engage trained professionals to coach students and build confident future orators.

Music Classes

Music is an essential part of our holistic education, building creativity and expression from the primary years. Students learn vocal and instrumental music, including keyboard, drums, percussion, choir, ensembles, and stage performances.

Dance Classes

Dance is a powerful form of expression, and we believe every child should be trained in it. At Lawrence High School, dance is an essential activity from Grade 1 to Grade 6. Our students participate in many competitions and bring victory home.

Eco Club

Our school proudly hosts the Climate Action Club, an initiative of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike. Through tree plantation, waste management, and water conservation, students actively promote sustainability.

Interact Club

Our Interact Club, guided by Rotary International, HSR Layout, fosters leadership, teamwork, and a spirit of service. Through community initiatives, students grow into responsible and compassionate citizens.

Annual Literary Fest

Our Annual Literary Fest is a celebration of reading, writing, and creative expression. With activities like author interactions, storytelling, poetry, debates, theatre, and creative writing, students explore the power of words beyond the classroom.

Art and Craft

Art & Craft nurtures imagination and supports a child’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development. From Kindergarten onward, students learn painting, drawing, and origami among other activities.

Robotics

Robotics is a new addition to our Science department and is open
to all interested students. We teach them the basics of robotics and encourage
them to build simple robots as well. Sessions are held every Wednesday and
Friday.

Grades 1–5: Hands-on robotics with LEGO WeDo and Mindstorms using
sensors and motors.

Grades 6–7: Arduino simulations on Tinkercad, including LEDs, traffic lights,
and motion sensors.

Grades 9–10: ICSE elective in Robotics and AI with sensor projects, Python,
and AI concepts.

Coding

Lawrence High School familiarizes students with programming through hands-on projects, challenges, and creative builds. It strengthens logical thinking and problem-solving skills while preparing students for the digital future.

Grades 1–3: Coding basics with Scratch Junior and Scratch through
animations and games.

Grades 4–5: Visual Python using EduBlocks to build logic and simulations.

Theatre

Theatre and puppetry sessions are led by expert faculty from Nayi Taleem, bringing professional theatre practices into the classroom. Their curriculum fosters drama-enabled learning by seamlessly integrating the arts into the mainstream academic programme.

Camps and Trails

Outdoor learning is an important part of a child’s growth, and activities begin from Grade 5 onward. Through nature walks and camps, such as bird watching, understanding animal behaviour, and conservation, students also learn basic camping and survival skills.
